The village is made up of rural constructions, restored and furnished for small apartment vacation get aways and relaxation under the shade of the centennial oak trees. Attached to the Villa, there is a pre-roman church, which according to records existed already in the 8th Century A.D. at the time of the Longobard King, Liutprando.
In the surrounding area, Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes are picked after they mature on the sunny hillside. Still today, grapes are selected for the seasonal vine harvest of wines such as Chianti dei Colli Senesi DOCG, Vin Santo and Barricato.
